Rural First Responders Foundation is a small non-profit dedicated solely to supporting the volunteer fire departments (VFD's) in rural areas of the United States. Our core members are retired military, Veterans, and spouses, who enjoy being involved with the rural communities.
Our mission is to provide volunteer support for VFD fund-raising and community events. We also donate high-use items such as decontamination wipes, utility/disposable gloves, and other small safety equipment items that are always in demand by VFD's.
Chief: click on the comment call out on the lower right of the page to request support for your next fund-raiser or other community event. We are volunteers who will work under your direction for setup, cleanup, and anything in-between you need.
We are 100% volunteer; there is no cost for utilizing our volunteer efforts.
We can donate paper goods, plastic utensils, trash bags, and other similar items necessary to support your event. We would be happy to also help you promote your event via social media.
Regardless of where you live, we would love to have you spend time with us as a volunteer supporting rural VFD's.
Please click on the comment call out on the lower right of the page to join our email distribution list so you know about upcoming events in your area. If you know of a rural VFD that could use assistance, please contact us and forward our information to them as well.
If you are a First Sergeant or Commander for a military unit and are looking for ways to support rural communities in your area, please reach out to us to discuss how your Unit can assist.
